Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Helping Us All To Stay Safe

We would like to say a big “Thank you” to all our clients for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times and helping to keep everyone safe by following the measures we have in place.

We understand these are difficult and stressful times for all and it may take longer to get through on the telephone or you may be at the surgery for longer than normal, we thank you in advance for your understanding, as we adjust in how we would normally offer care for your pets.

Based on government advice and guidance from our governing body the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, we are still running an emergency / urgent treatment service for our clients, plus we are now able to perform booster vaccinations for those that were postponed during April and May.

Other services that are still being run are:

• Video / telephone consultations for non-emergencies
• Puppy and kitten vaccinations
• Rabbit vaccinations
• First year booster vaccinations
• Repeat medications
• Flea and worm treatments
• Food collections

It is very important to continue to protect our clients and staff and in order to do this, Video or Telephone Consultations continue to be the new way of working. Where it is necessary to examine your pet at the surgery we continue to work from the car park and are only allowing your pet into the surgery.

Where possible we ask that you request repeat medications, food, flea and worm treatments via email at info@whittleseyvets.co.uk Please include your surname, animals name, address and an up to date telephone number, along with the product you require. We will call you when it is ready to arrange collection and to make payment over the phone or to let you know if we need to see your pet first.

Collection times for medications, prescriptions, food, flea and worm treatments remain in place and are as follows, 9am, 2pm or 6pm.

On arrival at the surgery please telephone or knock on the door to let us know you are here.

If you have any concerns about your pet please telephone us at the surgery, we are here and remain open for you and your pets.
